This dollhouse scene built by Buff Greaney is entitled, “The Great Outdoors.”  The miniature is on loan courtesy of the San Diego Miniature Crafters Association. Although not made as part of a club project, this miniature scene contains several elements built for club projects. This was the first miniature tree that Buff ever made, and the first time she worked with epoxy to create the illusion of water. She made almost everything from scratch, including the critters. Buff noted that this project was more about making the container and then integrating many pieces that she had made over a period of time to form the setting. Her Great Outdoors project was built at 1:12 scale.
