This one-inch scale miniature Tea Room and Bakery, built by Jeannie Napolitano, is an example of crafting with a sense of humor. The bakery chef, who was handcrafted and dressed, can be seen losing his balance and slipping on a banana peel. The chef was sculpted and dressed by dollmaker Fern Vasi. Each pastry was handmade by various American and English artisans. The entire scene was created from Jeannie’s imagination, with an eye toward fine workmanship. The dollhouse was contributed by the San Diego Miniature Crafters Association.
