This small dollhouse built by Anita Kirwan is called the Cherry Tree House. The tiny shop is filled with delicious desserts. The Cherry Tree House was part of a large donation of items from the San Diego Miniature Crafters.
Anita Kirwan was born in Chicago, but claims San Diego as her home. One of her most treasured items is a small family of Asian dolls that she made over 70 years ago. Anita began working on miniatures again later in life after she began taking her daughter to the Doll and Toy Emporium in Old Town San Diego. She has an eye for delicate things, and elements that remind her of family. Her many different dollhouse rooms represent the things and people she loves.
