Bruce Satra of Vernal Engineering, Utah, produced a very popular casting kit for the 1/6-scale Pratt Whitney Wasp Jr. Radial engine. In this example he combined one of the Wasp cylinder assemblies to a crankcase he machined from billet to produce this single-cylinder Wasp Jr. engine. Finished in 2000, the engine is designed to burn gasoline or methanol on spark ignition.
