This Wall F Head inline 4-cylinder engine was made by Dick Pretel, of CA, in 2001. This highly modified Wall 4 sports a side-valve exhaust and an overhead valve intake system. Dick started with the basic Wall crankcase casting but machined the remaining components from bar stock. He designed his own pistons, rings, and valves that he machined from stainless steel. It has a pressurized lubrication system with the pump built into the rear housing. The electrical system, radiator, cooling fan, and ignition are located in the cabinet below. The engine measures 12”-long, 6”-wide, 9”-high, and sports a Kettering ignition with an MSD Blaster coil and dropping resistor.
