This TechnoPower 5-cylinder radial prototype engine was designed and built by Wally Warner, Illinois, 1983. This prototype marked the beginning of a new line of 1/4 scale engines to power large model aircraft. It is about 13″ in diameter with a bore of 1.100″ and a stroke of 1.00″. It was designed to burn methanol on spark ignition and has two shafts extending from the rear gear case. One is for the distributor and the other is intended for a starter.
