The “Sprinter” Cox .049 tether car was designed and built by Doug Parker, of Vermont, in 2014. Powered by a Cox .049 engine, this car measures about 3-1/4″-wide and 7-1/4″-long with a 4-3/4″ wheel base and weighs 13.8 ounces. It is completely machined from aluminum bar stock and steel and hand polished to a bright luster. The rear axle and front wheels are supported by ball bearings to provide greater stability and reduce friction.
