This fishing boat is typical of the type used along the California coast from Monterey to San Francisco. Ted Snoddy worked from photos and postcards showing these boats and constructed this one from his own plans. The hull was individually planked. This boat, named “Off-Road Cape Able,” includes miniature lobster traps.
