This RCS 400cc radial burns a gasoline/oil mixture on spark ignition. It was made in 2007 by Moki, Inc. in Ukraine. The unique electronic ignition utilizes a miniature high tension coil located at each spark plug. This “coil-on-plug” concept eliminates the need for a distributor since only low voltage is sent from the ignition module and is converted to high voltage at each spark plug. A magnetic sensor on the crankshaft or camshaft is used for timing the spark sequence. The engine measures about 14″ in diameter, weighs 20.5 pounds (without display base) and produces 25 horsepower spinning a 40-25 propeller at 3,800 rpm.
