This model R/C racing boat is actually a hydrofoil with a single engine. The boat rides on hydrofoil blades in front with only the propeller in the water at the stern. The racing boat was built by Bob Gregory and is capable of very high speeds–over 100 mph! This boat was raced on an oval course in model yacht ponds like the one on Vacation Island in San Diego, CA.
