Dr. Haydock (first name unknown), of England, designed single-cylinder, 2-cylinder and 4-cylinder engines for model boats. He built a handful of Otter 30 cc engines from his own patterns and castings. All engines were sold as completed engines and not as kits. The engine is 11”-long, 8”-wide, and 20”-high.

The red distributor cap is fabricated from a plastic bottle cap not unlike a liquid dish-washing soap bottle. It is mounted to a movable bracket for manual timing and spark advance at higher speeds.
