This Loyal Cycle Engine was built by Ron Schindele, of AZ, in 2011. Ron designed and built the engine after reading an article about Loyal Cycle engines by Edgar T. Westbury in Model Engine News magazine. The engine is a 2-stroke with an atmospheric intake and exhaust valve. It has a 1-inch bore, 2-inch stroke, and burns propane on spark ignition.
