K&B advertised, but never actually produced a ringed .29 engine. Lud Kading built two experimental engines in 1947, but it was decided that they wouldn’t go into production. These engines were marked “1-R” and “R29.” All parts except cylinder with webs and piston with rings are the same as the lapped Torpedo .29.
