Roger Butzen’s neighbor happened to be restoring his Harley-Davidson motorcycle when, during the process, Roger borrowed parts to create a 1/3 scale copy of the engine. Roger’s results are this extremely accurate miniature of the full-size Evolution engine in both detail and sound. It burns gasoline on spark ignition, and sports an oil pump for internal lubrication. Built in 2000, Roger’s miniature Evolution is 18”-long, 12”-wide, 16”-high, and weighs 25 lbs. It’s on loan courtesy of the Engine Collection of Paul and Paula Knapp.
