A diecast model of the Grumman F7F-3 Tigercat (Marines, #G-142). The F7F-3 Tigercat was one of Joe Bridi’s favorite planes to model. This one was made by First Gear Collectibles and features a retractable landing gear and folding wingtips for carrier deck storage. It is in blue Marine Corps colors and numbered G-142. The plaque on the stand reads, “USMC F7F-3 Tigercat, Livermore, CA, 1946.”
