The “Dragonfly” Cox .049 tether car was built by Doug Parker, of Vermont, in 2014. This car measures about 3.25″-wide in front, 2.25″-wide in the rear, 2.625″-high, 12.25″-long, and weighs about 18 ounces. It is powered by a methanol burning Cox TD .049 geared 2:1 to the front axle. The aluminum parts are machined from 6061, the pan handle is steel, and all rods and axles are made from drill rod.
