The builder of this custom 2-cylinder steam engine is unknown, but the restoration was done by Ron Schindele. The small steam engine measures 6-1/2-inches long (including the crankshaft), 2-7/8-inches wide, 7-inches tall, and sports a 3-inch flywheel. It appears to be an old build that Ron rescued and reconditioned; then he added the boiler and water pump he built from casting kits Once plumbed and tested he added the steam whistle and positioned everything on a wood base to produce this very pleasing display.
