This Atkinson Cycle engine was made by Ron Schindele, of AZ, in 2011. Plans from Gingery Publications were the basis for Ron’s rendition of the Atkinson Cycle engine. Among many modifications, he downsized the plans by 20%, converted it to air cooling, and mounted the cooling fan into the base. Typical of Mr. Schindele’s style, this engine was modified to burn propane on electronic spark ignition.
