This dollhouse diorama is entitled, “6-Girls-6.” It was built by Sara Botts, and is on display with several other dollhouse rooms that she crafted. The small diorama was actually built inside of a refashioned liquor box.
Sara Botts was a woman of many talents. She was described as a painter, ceramicist, sculptor, doll maker, miniature room-box creator, and a savvy cook and party thrower. She worked as a bookkeeper for an interior design group where she gained the inspiration to make miniature rooms when she retired. Sara wanted a fun and relaxing hobby, and found her happiness as a miniaturist. Her husband helped out with his skills as an electrician, providing light to her rooms.
