This 3-cylinder radial model airplane engine was designed and built by 3W Engines, Germany, circa 1990. This spark-ignition 2-cycle engine is composed of three single-cylinder engines geared together within one common crankcase.

It has a bore of 1.6″, a stroke of 1.1″ (6.3 cu in total), weighs 10.1 pounds, and will produce 11 horsepower spinning a 34 x 26 propeller at 4,500 revolutions per minute.

The engine burns a gas/oil mixture on electronic spark ignition. 3W received a patent on this radial engine in 1997. The engine is 15″-long, 12″-wide, 14″-high, and weighs 14 lbs. 4 oz. (with the stand).
