The Suevia 252 single-cylinder model airplane engine was designed and built in West Germany in the 1980s. The engine is 6”-long, 3.5”-wide, and 6”-high. (Courtesy of Dale Jordan.) This engine is reported to be an efficient glow ignition engine that utilizes Schnuerle-scavenge porting. It has a displacement of 1.5 cubic inches. It produces 3 HP at 11,000 rpm and swings a 14-7.5 propeller.
