A scale model 1934 Ahrens-Fox fire engine. John built this model in 2016 using sheet styrene plastic, turned aluminum, and basswood for the scaling ladders. As demonstrated here, the level of John’s skill, craftsmanship, and innovation gradually increased over the span of a lengthy modeling career.
