This is Chuck Harty’s rendition of the 1/6 scale Cirrus designed by Merritt Zimmerman. It is 7”-long, 6”-high, 3”-wide, and weighs 2 pounds 9 ounces on the aluminum base. It was designed to burn methanol with castor oil mixed in for lubrication; the rockers need manual lubrication before operation. Mr. Harty built the scale engine in the 1990s.
