This 1/5 scale R/C model P-40 Warhawk was built by Lowell Wexler of Oceanside, CA. The plane has WWII era Chinese Air Force markings for the “Flying Tigers.” Built from molded fiberglass components, this large-scale radio-controlled airplane has a high level of detail in the cockpit and airbrushed paint job. The gear is retractable and all of the control surfaces work. Mr. Wexler also builds jet-powered model aircraft.
