Graupner-O.S. Wankel Engine
O.S. partnered with Graupner to produce the first Wankel model airplane engine in 1970. This particular engine was on loan to the Craftsmanship Museum courtesy of Joshua Vest.

This is an O.S. FS-120S-SP supercharged single-cylinder engine, which was produced in the 1990’s. (Engine donated by Jerry Nelson.)
O.S. FS-120S-SP Supercharged Engine
This is a 4-cycle, single-cylinder supercharged engine. The supercharger is a Roots type. Displacement is 1.200 cubic inches.
O.S. FS-120S-SP Supercharged Engine
The FS-120S-SP has a bore of 1.197 inches, and a stroke of 1.083 inches. The rpm range is 2,000-11,000. Max power is 2.50 bhp. Total weight without the muffler is 36.30 ounces.
O.S. FS-120S-SP Supercharged Engine
The FS-120S-SP was built for model aircraft flying pattern/aerobatics. Jerry Nelson donated this brand new engine to the Craftsmanship Museum in the original box, with all original paperwork and tools.
O.S. MAX-46AX 2-Cycle Engine
This engine from 2003 is more typical of modern O.S. production engines. It displaces 0.455 cubic inches, or 7.45 cc. The bore is 0.866″ and stroke is 0.772″. (Engine donated by Art Pesch/Hobbico.)
O.S. MAX-46AX 2-Cycle Engine
This engine runs at an rpm range from 2,000 to 17,000, and weighs 13.2 oz (375 g). The silencer assembly adds 4.02 oz.
