Robert Jr. recalled that the family car, when filled with people, camping gear, and pulling the boat, had barely enough power to make it up some of the steep grades to the lake. The rule was no talking when it got tense going up, as the car went slower and slower.

The Mastercraft trailer was detailed with drawings as well, and modeled to exact proportion.

The gas tank was modeled down to the fuel line fittings and gas cap.

When it wasn’t on the water, the Rattazzi family Trojan and trailer rested on a milk crate at their home. As such, even a 1/12 scale milk crate was built to accommodate Robert’s tiny vessel.
