Richard Simon hand carved these ten small character figurines out of wood. Mr. Simon started his career as a machinist, working his way up through the ranks to become Lead Inspector, Shop Manager, and eventually VP of Estimating and Bidding. However, he loved the freedom that wood carving offered compared to working with metal. Richard also applied his wood carving talents in the restoration and building of countless pieces of furniture for family and friends. He used the carving tools he had inherited from his father-in-law, who was a master carpenter. Richard’s inspiration for his carvings came from watching and observing people in real life.
