The glow-plug Titan .60 model airplane engine was designed by George Genevro, intended as a DIY build project for the hobbyist community. George sold plans and the castings as a kit for all interested enthusiasts.
Roger Taylor bought the kit to build in honor of Mr. Genevro. Roger contacted Mark Presling of Australia to see if he’d be interested in partnering on this project. Mark enthusiastically took on the challenge to build this very special engine, so Roger shipped the kit down under. Mark completed the build in the spring of 2022, taking great care to document the build through many hours of YouTube videos.
In addition to all of his other achievements, George also built several planes over the years. He even posed for a picture with his full scale ultra-lite aircraft at the young age of 100 years old.
