Peter Roffe and Brian Stammer developed the Magnum engines in the early 1980s. They combined two-cylinder assemblies from their single-cylinder 91S to make this 90° V-twin 182. The 27 mm bore and 26 mm stroke equal about 15cc per cylinder with a total displacement of almost 30 cc. Magnum engines typically burned methanol on glow ignition, but this model utilizes spark ignition and sports a rare built-in electric starter. Manufactured in England, this engine is 9”-long, 10”-wide, and 7”-high.
