Come by for a visit

For a detailed area map from YahooMaps CLICK HERE, or do a search for "3190 Lionshead Avenue, 92010" in Google maps, or MapQuest. If coming via San Marcos Blvd. or Rancho Santa Fe from Hwy 78 note that San Marcos Blvd. changes names to Palomar Airport Road after it crosses Rancho Santa Fe. Note also that Business Park Drive goes north from Palomar Airport Road, but on the south side of the intersection it is called White Sands. Poinsettia Avenue changes names to Lionshead where it crosses Business Park Drive. We apologize for our local cities' confusing street naming practices.

Location Map

NOTE: Poinsettia changes names to Lionshead Avenue where it crosses Business Park Drive. San Marcos Blvd. turns into Palomar Airport Road if approaching from San Marcos.

Use CAUTION Leaving the museum parking lot

When you visit the museum in Carlsbad, take care when pulling back out onto Lionshead Avenue from the museum parking lot. It is hard to see around the curve to your left. The speed limit is 50 MPH and vehicles often exceed that, meaning you only have a few seconds to react once they round the corner. Check both ways very carefully before pulling out, and then pull out in a positive manner.
