Docents / Hosts
Museum volunteers act as hosts and docents, greeting
guests as they arrive, showing them
around the display area, and explaining exhibits
You don't need to be a
machinist or engineer. Regardless of
background, volunteers find the subject matter at the museum
inspiring and sharing with visitors stimulating and rewarding. |
Machinists, Skilled Craftsmen
The machine shop is manned by
our master machinist but we invite others to help with our ongoing projects on a
volunteer basis. Projects built in the museum shop become part of
the museum display or are made available to museum guests for a
donation.
If you enjoy being
around fellow machinists, model makers, and
craftsmen, the museum machine shop is a great place
to hang out. |
